President and Sister Alba

This morning we went to the Oakland airport for the final time. Today we got to pick up President and Sister Alba. As they came walking past security, they had big smiles for me and my camera. We were very excited to meet these wonderful people and after spending a little time with them, we feel very comfortable leaving our missionaries in their hands. They are fun and energetic, honest and sensitive, spiritual giants and loving in every way. The California Santa Rosa Mission is in good hands! They have our love and full support. We will be cheering them on from afar!

Sister Alba has started a blog. You can find it at...  http://santarosamissionaries.blogspot.com/

I plan on writing when ever I have something good to say! :) I will be taking pictures this next weekend and sharing those on here. I imagine President, aka Jon, will share a letter from time to time, just because (we all know) he has a lot to say! We sign off for now saying how much we have loved these past three years and the association we have had with our wonderful missionaries, the members, our recent converts, our investigators, actually everyone we met. We love the families of our missionaries as well and look forward to meeting many of you in the coming days. We will miss our new friends that we have made in California, but we are comforted in the fact that relationships are eternal. Our lives have been changed forever! The gospel is true. Jesus is the Christ. People can change.
